1. License
CutAssistAI is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use CutAssistAI for your internal editing workflow. License sharing, sublicensing, resale, or unauthorized redistribution is not permitted. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
2. Payments and renewals
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis and renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where explicitly stated in our refund policy. Payments are processed through our checkout provider (Lemon Squeezy).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, bypass licensing controls, or use CutAssistAI for unlawful purposes. You may not use the software to infringe third-party rights, distribute malware, or abuse our services. You are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary rights to the media you process. We reserve the right to restrict access in cases of abuse or security risk.
4. Trademark and affiliation disclaimer
CutAssistAI is an independent software product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe or Blackmagic Design. Adobe, Premiere, Blackmagic Design, and DaVinci Resolve are trademarks of their respective owners. Any use of third-party names is for compatibility and identification purposes only.
5. Warranty disclaimer
CutAssistAI is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or fitness for a particular purpose. AI-assisted results may vary and must be reviewed by the user before final delivery.
6. Liability limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CutAssistAI and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
